Positioning the background in Z space
- [Abba] Let's go ahead and take this into 3D space. I'll click Switches and Modes and enable the 3D switch for both pieces. I can now delete away the magenta. What I want to do is position the wall in 3D space, so there's a bit of separation from foreground to background. This'll be easier to see if you switch from one view to two. On the left here, I can see the set from above, and so I'll choose the wall and simply grab it on the z-axis here and pull back. This moves it further away in space. Now that worked quite well, but it's not quite big enough, but fortunately, we can scale that up if needed. I could angle that and pull it back, and if you want, you'll also find that you have a few additional options here over in the panel. So there are different backdrops that you can try. For now, let's keep working with this one. I'm going to switch this view on the left from Top to Custom View 1. This shows me the objects in 3D space.
