Abba Shapiro: Now, we've covered a lot in the last few movies. I just want to go over some of the basic camera settings once again just so you can feel comfortable with it. You might be used to the Golden Triangle when shooting, which is aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. And as you change one, it affects all the others, and that's how you control your depth of field and the way that your shot looks. Well, when shooting with strobes, it's again a little bit different. You really always want to shoot in manual, and you want to keep your shutter speed at what's best for that camera. In my case, with a Canon, it's 1/125th of a second. The other thing you want to do is you want to set your lights using a light meter or if you don't have a light meter, use the histogram like we showed you before so that they're fixed at a certain luminance level.
