Recording movies

- Once you're ready to record, I suggest you double check your settings before you start. Press the Menu button, and take a look at the options here. You'll notice, for example, that we have a few different options when it comes to record quality. If your memory card isn't fast enough, make sure you favor one of the lower quality options, recording as an MPEG-4 and adjusting the data rate. You'll also want to check that you're recording in the correct framerate. In this case, I'm going to disable 24p, and now it's going to go back to the additional framerate options. Check that you're recording the sound, and you can make other adjustments here. For example, there are choices here for Movie Servo AF that will adjust the auto-focus on the fly. In the next page, you'll see a few additional options. Under HDMI display, for example, I can decide what information to pass out the HDMI port.
