- All right, well so far we've talked a little bit about working with natural light, we've talked about our lenses, our cameras and settings. Well how then do we take all that we've learned and apply that to composing strong frames? Now that really is the question, right? We have to figure out well how does the subject fit into the frame, how do we create good strong compositions? Now in photography, when it comes to talking about composition, you often hear people say well use the rule of thirds and place the subject on the rule of thirds, but that isn't necessarily always true and it doesn't necessarily apply to portraiture. And because of that, I want to go above and beyond that. And I want to share with you some tips, so that you can think about portraiture composition in a completely new way.
