- Hey everyone, welcome to a new episode of Photo Critique of the Week. My name is Steve Simon, the passionate photographer. And today we're going to take a walk in the park. I'm going to take you to a beautiful park in Tokyo, Japan, during the height of Cherry Blossom Festival, and I'll give you a little insight into sort of how I approach this kind of a shoot. So, hey, let's get started. In Japan, the Cherry Blossoms is a very revered event. It's a very optimistic event. It's Spring, the cherry blossoms are a very special bloom. They don't last all that long, and everybody looks forward to it with great anticipation. It signals kind of new beginnings. So when I get into a situation with my camera, I'm kind of using in this situation, serendipity as my guide. So I'm just kind of wandering around, and I'll start shooting. And I'll look for scenarios that I think might make strong photographs, like this young couple. And I'll try and serendipitously take some images, or anonymously…
