- Hey everyone, welcome to a new episode of Photo Critique of the Week, my name is Steve Simon, the passionate photographer, and today I'm going to admit that sometimes when I'm out with my camera I can be a little bit lazy, but lazy in a good way, and by that I mean, sometimes I find that if I plant myself in one spot, especially when I framed my image in a way that I like, and there's something happening within the frame, people walking by, et cetera, that can really pay off in terms of, you don't know what's going to happen, you don't know what the pictures are going to be, but you've got your image framed and then serendipity contributes, and sometimes you get something really good. So I'll show you an example of that right now. You know, I find that when I'm in a situation that has visual potential, rather than kind of rush things, I try and relax and get to kind of understand where I am, and what's going, and feel the rhythm of the place, and then start shooting.
