(gentle music) - Capturing great photographs of families and kids doesn't happen on accident. You have to schedule and plan ahead and so here in this movie, I want to talk about three topics related to that which are wardrobe, props, and timing. Now before a family photo shoot, the family will almost always ask, well, what should we wear? And I have a pretty standard response and basically what I say is most importantly you want to wear something which is authentic to you which you feel good in, that you feel like you look good in and is comfortable. Next you want to stay away from logos or loud colors. You want to think about clothes which work well together. In other words, you don't necessarily want to be matchy matching, everyone wearing jeans and a t-shirt or something like that but you want to have a color palette which works well so that if any individual was photographed with another individual, it would work. In other words, kid with dad, kid with mom, kid with brother, kid…
