Shooting in Live View

- Depending upon your preference, you may find yourself shooting in live view mode. Instead of using the optical viewfinder, you're using the screen on the back of the camera. Now, the camera behaves a little bit differently, but this is the mode that you'll use when shooting video, and it is quite useful, particularly if you like a larger screen to really help you judge what's happening. To shoot in live view mode, the first thing to do is flip the camera switch on the back to either camera or video, then press the start/stop button. This'll take the camera into live view mode. Let's just go ahead here, and you see that we toggle it in, and now we are in live view. Now, I'm seeing through the viewfinder and getting essential controls. In the upper left corner, you're seeing the type of shooting mode. So as I change modes here, you see those letters change depending upon the settings.
