Shooting in Live View
- On the back of the camera is a large LCD panel. This provides a couple of options, the ability to see menus and information about the shot or a live preview. Ultimately, it's up to you what information is shown. To access, just press the Live View button and this will engage. So we can switch between photo and video with the flip of a switch. And depending upon the lens you're using and other settings, you might see a slight shift in the image. Now when this is pressed, along the bottom is information about the shot. For example, I see how it's calculating exposure. Note, I can press and hold the metering button here on the top of the camera and that highlights. Now as I turn the dial, the metering mode changes. You'll notice, for example, with different metering modes changes are being made. In this case, since we're in aperture priority, the metering modes are affecting the shutter speed.
