Smartphone as bubble level

- There are many scenarios where you want to make sure that your camera is perfectly level relative to the scene, and there are various ways that you can confirm this. For example many cameras have a built in digital level that you can use, and many tripods have a bubble level built right into the base. But what about a scenario where you don't have a tripod with a bubble level? Then how can you make sure that you're staying level? Well obviously you could bring a bubble level with you, but you might already have the option for bubble level right in your pocket by way of a smartphone using an app. So I'm using here an app called Carpenter, and it has a built-in bubble level feature, actually several different options, here the surface bubble level. And so I can place this on the top of my tripod, for example, and then make an adjustment until the bubble level shows that it is perfectly level. So actually using your…
