- When you sign up to be a stock contributor you'll need to provide information for tax purposes. This is because you are selling things and the company you're working through will need to know if you are gonna be treated as a company or as an individual, and if they need to do taxes and have them withheld from your payments. When you sign up, you'll be asked for some tax documentation, this generally includes if you're registered as a corporation submitting a W9 saying that this is your corporation and you'll be paying your taxes. And you don't need Adobe to withhold for you. Most forms can be filled out right on the vendors website. Usually electronically submitted, or the ability to upload a PDF. It's not likely that you're gonna have to mail something in, or fax it. If you're international, you might need to submit tax treaty forms, if available, to minimize withholdings.
