Technical considerations

- Stock imagery isn't just for photos and video. Graphic design content and templates can do very well on stock sites. Let's talk about some of the technical requirements to be aware of. First up, make sure you choose the right color space. It's going to be up to you when you're designing whether the content is meant for print or screen use so pay attention to RGB versus CMYK. However, you're likely gonna also need to create thumbnail preview images. Those preview images are gonna be JPEGs so make sure you save them out in the RGB space. Also, if you're designing vector content, make sure that the artboard is set for a minimum resolution of 15 megapixels. You can also use an artboard up to 100 megapixels. Now this really comes into play when you're going to be exporting the image as a raster graphic. Perhaps you're not licensing the vector file, but rather a raster representation.
