- [Instructor] One of the things that I do before important conference calls is test my setup before the call itself. And I just want to spend a moment talking about this because it's so important and has saved me so much grief. So there are the obvious things where you want to check your camera settings. Make sure that everything here is the way that it should be. Because maybe you're using your camera for other things when you're not videoconferencing, which I think that's a very normal thing, right? So you want to make sure that you're on Movie mode. You want to make sure that the white balance we talked about is set properly. Want to make sure that you have the lens on there that you're going to use for your conference call. In my case, I really like the 17mm f/1.8 on a Micro 4/3. You want to make sure that your battery is charged. You want to make sure you have an extra battery. And then you want to check your bandwidth.…
