Third-stop shutter speeds

- When I turn the aperture ring on my lens, and watch the aperture readout in the viewfinder, I see that aperture changes on this camera in third-stop increments. So here's my aperture readout, and as I change here from F4, going up, I get 4.5, then five, then 5.6, 5.6 is one full stop above where I started at F4. But there were those two intermediate apertures in there, at one-third stop increments. If I look at the shutter speed dial, I see that shutter speeds are listed in the traditional one-stop intervals, except for 125 and 180, most stops are a doubling of the previous stop, 15, 30, 60. However, it is possible for me to dial in third-stop changes of shutter speed. After setting my desired shutter speed, on the shutter speed dial, and then metering, I can turn the rear control wheel to adjust shutter speed in third-stop increments. So here you can see I'm going from 500 to 400, to 320, it's not going to let me go any further, just because of the exposure at this point. But I'm…
