- [Instructor] You know I'm not really a patient person but I know that in photography patience pays off. Hi everybody, my name is Steve Simon, the passionate photographer, and welcome to another edition of Photo Critique of the Week. And this week we're going to talk a little bit about patience in photography. It's a theme that you've heard before on this show and it's one that just works. The images I'm going to show you were of a specific place made over the course of about a half an hour. It was in Tokyo, Japan and there was this kind of billboard as you can kind of see here, and I'm just going to quickly go through the photos. You know in my experience, when I have an idea in terms of wanting to take a picture, usually the picture doesn't happen on the first try. Normally when I spend some time in a place, it gets better and it gets better and it gets better, and that has just been my experience over all these years as a photographer.
