- We all know that in many situations it's mandatory or at least advisable to make use of a tripod but traveling around with a tripod can be a little bit of a challenge. They tend to be a little bit bulky, a little awkward to carry around. To be sure in many cases you can attach a tripod to your backpack but there's also another option that makes working with a tripod, or at least traveling with a tripod a little bit easier and that's what is essentially a camera strap, if you will, for a tripod or a shoulder strap for a tripod. Here I can attach for example to the ball head using the smaller loop on the shoulder strap. And then I can attach the other end of my strap here to the legs, and then once I have the strap attached to my tripod, I've got a nice, comfortable shoulder strap and I can carry that tripod very easily, just slinging it over my shoulder, right on top of my backpack for example or other camera bag that I…
