- [Steve] Hey, everyone, my name is Steve Simon, The Passionate Photographer. And welcome to a new edition of Photo Critique of the Week. This week I'm going to show you a few images that just don't really work. And I think that one of the things, for all of us, is that were always striving to make pictures as good as we can get. Wherever you are on your photographic journey, you've reached a certain level, and you've set a certain bar. And in order for the images to be added to your portfolio, they have to be of a certain quality, of a certain kind of characteristic, that make them as strong as the rest of your body of work. And, I think, in these examples, I'm going to show you a few images that sort of work, but not quite. They didn't quite reach the bar that I really set for myself when I'm shooting.
