Uploading via FTP

- One way to upload your content to a stock site is via FTP, or file transfer protocol. Let's go over this at a high level. What you're gonna need to do is use an FTP application. This file transfer application makes it easy to do a large bulk upload. Now, I suggest, if you work in an office environment with many other folks, that you are certain that you are not going to clog the network up. So, check for a good time to do the upload. Also, use a dedicated FTP application so the upload can be resumed if it's interrupted or paused if needed. Some sites are only gonna allow certain formats to be uploaded via FTP, particularly the larger video files. Other sites will still require you to use the web interface. But FTP is always desirable if it's an option. What'll generally happen is you'll click on the Upload button, and then you might notice that there's options for FTP.
