- You might find it useful to also press the info button and exit live view, and the info button will then send out critical information about the shot itself. Notice now those same settings are a lot easier to read with many choices. For example, now I know as I make changes that that shot's really underexposed. But as I adjust the shutter speed, the exposure meter updates. So now, for example, I'm one stop underexposed. Let's take the shot, and if we play that back, you'll notice that the shot is a bit dark based on the settings, but I like it. So being able to see information on that display can be quite useful. I really like to leave the info display up a lot because it makes it super easy to see the controls. Now there's a lot of icons here so it can seem a bit overwhelming, but you'll learn about these as we work. Essentially what's important here is seeing the mode in the upper left corner, as we change that, the letter changes indicating the shooting mode. The next two numbers…
