Using a flash bender to modify a flash

- The light from a flash could be very harsh, that's where we need a soft box, but when we're on location it's hard to bring all of our soft boxes with us. So, a great portable solution, or a mobile solution, is a flash bender by Rogue. This little unit here will act like a soft box. Now, we could use it in several different ways. We could attach it right to our flash, and now what we're able to do is bend it into shape. So, if I just want the light to come across on the subject like so, I can bend it into shape, and the light's coming out like a soft box. I can even take the top of it and bring it in like this. Now, I'm controlling the light on location. It's extremely portable and very convenient and to take it off I just un-Velcro it, slip it through the rings, and now I have it off. This particular unit comes with a grid. I want to attach this to the flash bender, and this will create a strip box.
