- [Steve] Hi everybody, and welcome to a brand new edition of Photo Critique of the Week. My name is Steve Simon, you know me as the passionate photographer. And so today we're just going to look at a few kind of somewhat disconnected images by a bunch of different photographers, and we're going to talk a little bit about them, at least I will, and maybe provide a little insight and talk about maybe why I chose these, what works, what doesn't, and that's it for this week. So, I wanted to start off with this one, and this image by Scott Joslin I think is really beautiful. It was taken in Havana, Cuba along the Malecon stretch of water. I think what I like about this image and what makes it work for me is the blur, interestingly enough, and I'm a big advocate, and you've heard me say often that it's a sharpness that really is important often to the success of the image, and certainly in this image the sunset behind the clouds and the ocean are really sharp, and that's where Scott put…
