What is exposure compensation?

- I really hope that you're not just sitting at your computer watching these movies one after another after another. I mean, I'm tired of hearing me talk. I can't imagine what you guys are feeling. It's important for you to be getting out and practicing the things that we're talking about as we go along. Hopefully you've been doing that and hopefully you're getting good about your half press of the shutter button. You're starting to get that habit of always half pressing, letting the camera focus, and meter. In the old days, before auto focus, you had to set all of the settings yourself. Shutter speed and aperture you had to set yourself. ISO is a decision you made when you bought a roll of film. Back then it was absolutely possible for you to set settings that were completely wrong and just take bad pictures one after another. You can still do that if you like.
