What you should know

- Before we begin I want to clear the table of a couple of things that you want to know going into this course. The first thing that I want to highlight is that the photographs that you'll be seeing in this course are all processed using tools like Photoshop and Lightroom. Now, I won't be talking about post-processing in this course because it doesn't fit into the scope of what we're covering here but know that I've created a lot of different courses on those topics so if you want to learn how to do those things be sure to check those out. The other thing that I want to highlight is that I'll be showing you photographs of a lot of different subject matter, everything from photographs of my family and kids to famous movie stars to a renowned artist like this. Now, this course isn't necessarily about the subject matter, rather it's about this concept of capturing natural-like portraits. So, what you're going to need to do is take a look at all of these examples and techniques that I'm showing you and ask yourself well, how can I then apply this to me and my world and the subjects that I'll be photographing myself? Alright, with that out of the way, let's go ahead and begin.
