- [Instructor] In the next few movies, we'll be turning our attention towards the question of what is your brand's point of view and how can you begin to develop one? Well, one way that you can do that is by beginning to articulate a manifesto and/or a mission statement. So here in this first movie out of these two, I first want to talk about these terms and give you a few examples of what these might be. All right, well, let's start off with that term manifesto. What does that actually mean? It's a great word. What it means is, it's a published declaration of one's intentions, motives, or views. How does that compare/contrast, say, to a mission statement? Well, a mission statement is a formal summary of the aims and values of a company or individual. Okay, well then, let's look at a few examples of these things, and let's start off with the idea of a mission statement, and here we'll look at a few examples of some companies which are well-known and an individual.
