Wi-Fi in the camera

- A wifi connection has become just a ubiquitous part of our lives. We use all sorts of devices, from computers to smart phones and other technology to connect to the Internet via wifi networks. And an increasing number of cameras now include built-in wifi, and that enables a variety of different features. For example, I could use a wifi connection to download photos from my camera directly to my computer. I can also use a smart phone or other device to actually control the camera remotely, sort of a cable release without the cable. And I could even download photos to a smart phone. So for example, one of those applications would be to be out in the field capturing images with a camera that includes wifi, but without the ability to get those photos onto the Internet necessarily directly from within the camera itself. But we can use that wifi connection to download photos to a smart phone, for example, so that you could then share the images online via the smart phone. So there are a…
