- [Richard] So Abba, we've jumped into After Effects here and same rules apply. If you're completely brand new to After Effects, there's After Effects Essential Training here on Lynda.com and several other classes on After Effects and what I like about this is that After Effects keyer is so much more powerful than the keyer that I find in almost any other non-linear editing program. - [Abba] There are many ways to key in After Effects, but I'm going to show you a useful preset. In the Effects & Presets area, type in the word key. This is going to bring up several different options. To start, I'm going to apply this one called Keying - green blur to my footage layer. You'll notice that in the starter project, I've simply put the background layer in and a video over the top. Now this is easy. It's a applied with that preset a very slight blur to the green channel, which helps remove some noise in the green screen areas. In the same Effects & Presets, there's another preset here that…
