- [Steve] Hi everybody, my name is Steve Simon, The Passionate Photographer, and welcome to a brand new edition of Photo Critique of the Week. This week, I'm going to talk about the moment. Something I've often talked about I'm sure on Photo Critique of the Week, but something that really can't be understated because the moment in photography is such a powerful thing. I mean, the magic of photography is that we can freeze moments forever. And it really is a matter of capturing the decisive moment as Cartier-Bresson has said. I expect that there are many decisive moments, just as there are many different types of portraits of people that capture different facets of their personality. There might not be even one decisive moment but I think a lot of the images that we're going to speak about this week, the moment is really important.
