Choosing the color primaries and white balance
Earlier I showed you the white balance, and mentioned the color model. You have complete control over these when working with Photomatix. Let's re-open up a couple of images. And we'll merge those. Note, we have a whole raw conversion setting when working with raw files. You could choose to work with it as it was shot, Or have it auto detect. I generally recommend you preview a sample image. So choose one of the exposures and open it up. This let's you see what's happening with the image. Alright, I'm going to stick with as shot in this case. The camera sensor was correct, but it's nice that you do have those presets to choose from. Alright, we'll click OK, and instead of working with Adobe RGB, let's go with a wider colored gamut with ProPhoto RGB. And we'll bring up that image. There we go. We'll just re-mark that area for Selective Deghosting. Send it on. And, in this case, instead of doing a subtle HDR image, I'm going to push it really far. Let's stick with realistic, and do a…
