- Now that you've gotten a chance to see these finishing touches in action, I want you to give them a tryout yourself. I'll pick an image and give you a few pointers, but I'd like you to try putting all of the techniques together. We're going to make a black and white image, and I want you to have one with crisp details. The goal here is that the subject really stands out and that there's lots of definition, depth, and sharpness. So let's pick this image here. It's an abandoned building. And we'll open it up. And you see there's a lot happening within the photograph. You'll also notice that it's a live photo which has movement on it; however, what we're going to do do before we work with this is turn the live photo features off. Now we're going back and just working with the single frame that was the high-quality image, and not the captured companion video. As you look at this image, you'll see that there's a few things…
