Increasing color contrast in an image
- As you work with the image and start to adjust its saturation, you're very likely going to want to refine contrast. Now, it's not the contrast we just adjusted, up in the Light section. I'm going to actually undo that. Instead, we're going to work with the contrast within the color, affecting color contrast, which lets you refine the difference between similar colors by adjusting the color contrast. This'll create better separation between the colors in the image, in this case, particularly with the greens in the trees. Let's go back up here to the Light section, and I'm going to undo Contrast. You can double-click on the slider to reset it. Now, under the Color section, look at the Contrast slider. If we undo this, you'll see the change here as we increase as well. This is affecting the overall difference between the colors. In this case, I actually prefer less contrast, and a little overall boost to saturation.…
