- I hope you enjoyed this look at Photos for macOS today. Remember, most of the techniques I showed you will also translate when working on your iOS device. The interfaces are a little bit different, but the tools are actually dramatically the same. So if you're using an iPhone or an iPad, you'll be able to use most of these same techniques on the go. Photos is a really interesting workflow application, and I like it quite a bit. It looks pretty simple at first, but as you've dug in, you probably see there's a lot of problems that you can solve. There's an extensive editing toolset, plus the ability to easily tie-in third-party tools to further enhance. Plus there's a lot of other benefits, including the ability to sync to the cloud so your photos are available on the go, and that your pictures that you're capturing on your mobile devices are automatically imported into the application.
