A solution for color and color casts
- Let's take a look and see if you were able to get great results. Now here's my after image. You don't have to have the exact same results that I do, but hopefully, your image looks close or perhaps even better. Let me show you the techniques that I used to get these results. In this particular photo, the first thing I always do is get the contrast right with light. That's because this is going to affect other things. I'll click the Auto button and really evaluate things. It looks like the highlights can be recovered a bit in the sky. Let's also take a look at the overall shadows here and lift those up. And I see better separation. Now that the that's looking pretty good, I'm going to remove the color cast. Since we have a strong white tone, I'll take advantage of the neutral gray eyedropper, and simply click on something that should be white or neutral gray. And you see that that warms things up a bit.
