- So, how'd you do? I'm hoping your image looks a lot better. Now let me show you the techniques that I did and hopefully you got results that made your image look a bit more like this. One of the first things I did on this image is remove the distracting object from the side. Somebody was standing at the edge of the frame and they really weren't part of the picture. Let's pull this in a little bit and I like that, and I'm going to crop to a 16-by-9 aspect ratio and that looks good. Now let's go to the adjust section and I'll click the Auto button for light so it analyzes the photo, as well as attempt an auto-curve. That helped quite a bit. Now let's add some control points here on the different zones. Good. I want to bring down the sun a little bit. Like so. And it helps on the sky. And lift a little bit more in the desert. Good.
