Adjusting the color of an image in Photoshop Elements

- I typically adjust exposure before color because as you brighten up an image, the color tends to wash out. And if you darken the image, the color gets more saturated. So if you skipped the movie on exposure, be sure to check that out. But now, let's talk about adjusting color; getting the intensity of color right, as well as things like the hue. In Photoshop Elements, I'll choose File, Open, and I'll navigate to the folder inside of section five that contains color information. In this case, I have three RAW files. These are the files generated by the camera. Now, when you do this, there's an important choice to pay attention to. You'll notice, for example, the White Balance. The camera measures white in the scene, and attempts to adjust. If this isn't accurate, you might find that choices like Auto really change the feeling, or perhaps specify that this was shot in daylight.
