Adjusting the size of an image in Photoshop Elements
- As you work with images in Photoshop Elements it's very easy to precisely control their size. Let me show you. First I'll choose to open an image and I'm just going to open up a JPEG from folder five three. Now this photo's already been color corrected and properly exposed, but I want to size it for use on a PowerPoint slide. I'll press C for crop and you'll see a variety of sizes made available. From the pop up list let's choose 16x9 for a slide. And I can now move that crop up or down into position and adjust it by pulling in. You see that the aspect ratio is locked. When satisfied, click the commit button. Now from the image menu, you can choose image, resize, image size. You can now easily enter a target size. For example, 1920 by 1080 would be the correct size for a 16x9 PowerPoint presentation. When I click okay, the image has been adjusted. Now it may look quite tiny, but don't worry. If you just say view actual pixels, you'll get a good idea on the quality of the photo. When…
