As you start to use digital images with a business, it's important that you have an understanding of some of the potential legal issues. There are a lot of ways that you can get in trouble for using photography or illustrations that you don't have the rights to. I'd like to give you a quick overview of some of the biggest issues, so you can avoid potential problems. First up, before I begin, I need to make clear, I am not an attorney. This is not legal advice. And I would suggest that you have access to an attorney, that you seek legal counsel where relevant. But lets talk about some of the issues. First up, one of the things to consider, is the use of royalty-free images. These can be ideal for your business as they allow you to pay a one time fee and then use the images as many times as you need for multiple purposes.
