- Now that we've got a good foreground and a pretty good sky, we just need to do a little bit of color grading on the background. I'll select the in between state here and add a Curves adjustment. Now it's easy to pull that down to restore some of the detail to the night sky. And you see we can get nice, rich shadows. I can even pull that down just a little bit more to get richness there. And bring up the whites so they're nice and bright. That looks good. I'm going to add another one here for Vibrance and just tone down the color a little bit. And you see we can go after that. Now, that's working pretty well, but it's going after all the color, so let's throw that away and instead add the Hue/Saturation layer. What I'm going to do is take this here and click. And you see it makes a basic selection. In fact, I'm just going to drag that selection over here to the reddish tones and tell it to adjust the reds. Now I can tone down the reds and roll them a little bit towards blue. And that…
