Add drama with the Angled Strokes filter
[Instructor] - In this movie I'm going to look at the Angled Strokes filter which is part of the Brush Strokes group. And I want to apply this filter more than once and I want to apply it in combination with other filters. And that's really the take away message here, that you get more interesting results from these filters when you apply them in combination and when you apply them more than once. So this is my finished result. Let me now move to the starting image. It's a wonderful stock image of a lighthouse being battered by waves and I will begin by converting this to a Smart Object. Right click to the right of the layer name, convert to Smart Object. Now before I apply the Angled Strokes I want to apply an oil paint filter to the image. So, filter, stylize, oil paint. Experiment with the values but I'm going to use these. Two for each of these settings and then change the shine to four. Now, I'm going to duplicate this layer. Command or control J. And let's just name the layers…
