- [Instructor] Hello friends, this is Chris. And welcome to another Photo Tools Weekly Quick Tip. In this week's episode we will continue our conversation that we started last time about typography. But here I want to highlight a little technique that relates to drop shadows that you may not be aware of. All right, well here you can see I have an image, I love photographing families and I have a website Savor Every Second. Here's my name. It's not very legible. I need a drop shadow behind the type here. To add a drop shadow, go to the layer and just double click on the layer away from the icon, or the name of the layer. This opens up our layer styles effect. Then we can choose drop shadow. And you want to click into that field there which opens up your controls. Now you can modify things by clicking and dragging here, or, you can actually just click and drag on the image. How cool is that?
