Add a mask to a video layer
- [Instructor] Alright, let's continue with this project, blending the gentle waves into the vintage photograph. So the next step is to create a layer mask so that we can control where the video shows up. I'm gonna temporarily turn that video layer off, and I'm gonna click on the ironing layer to make it active. I'm gonna come and get the quick selection tool, and I'm going to drag over the white area here. If your brush size is not this size here you can always make it larger by tapping on the right bracket key to resize it larger or the left bracket key to make it smaller. Something like that looks good. And that looks pretty good except I'm gonna subtract this piled up piece of laundry here and hold down the option key on Mac or the alt key on Windows to get to the subtract behavior, and something like that looks good. Next I'm gonna turn that visibility of the video layer back on and click on it to make it active and now I'll come down and click on the add layer mask button in the…
