Add a vignette with the Camera Raw filter

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'd like to show you how to add a vignette to an image. A darkening of the corners. It could also be a lightening of the corners. More typically a darkening of the corners to bring the viewer's attention to the focal point of the image. There are several ways we can do this. There are two ways, at least two ways, that involve using filters. The first of those is to use the lens correction filter. And if we come to this and then to the custom settings, you'll see here that we have a vignette amount and a midpoint. Now I'm not going to apply the vignette using lens correction because I prefer to use the camera raw filter where we have the amount slider, the midpoint slider, and some additional sliders. The first thing I want to do so that I can apply this filter in a non destructive way is convert my background layer to a smart object. I'll then come to the filter menu and to the camera raw filter.
