Adding color
- [Instructor] All right, now we can start coloring the illustration. When you color an illustration in Photoshop it's a really good idea to color different items in different layers that way we can make quick edits later. So the first thing I'm going to do is add a bunch of new layers and I can do it down here at the bottom of the Layers panel by clicking on the New Layer icon. And I'm just going to click on it a few times, 'cause I know I'm going to need a few layers. Then I'm going to take the layer that has my sketch on it and it's currently the Background layer, I'm going to double-click on it and rename it Sketch. And this is really important, because a Background layer has very specific properties. We don't want those properties. We also want our Sketch layer to be at the top of the layer stack and that's really, really important. Now we can color the rest of these layers, but I'm going to label them first and it's really important to label your layers. I can't stress that…
