Adding a custom Motion Blur effect

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to imbue your airplane with a custom motion blur effect, so that appears to be rushing forward at a kind of mind-boggling speed. I'll go ahead and switch over to my image so far, and what you want to do if you're working along with me is scroll to the very top of the stack here inside the Layers Panel, and go ahead and click on that top darkened layer. Now, we want to select the airplane, and you can do that by loading the layer mask as a selection outline. And to make that happen, you want to press the Control key, or the Command key on the Mac, and click on the Layer Mask thumbnail for the airplane layer. So just going ahead and Control or Command + Click on that layer mask, in order to convert the mask to a selection outline, at which point you'll see marching ants tracing the perimeter of your airplane. Then, go up to the Edit menu, and choose the Copy Merge command, which is going to copy everything that you're seeing on screen. So…
