Adding flames to a photograph

- [Instructor] Adding flames to your photographs is easy using Photoshop's Flame filter. I'm going to create a new document at the default Photoshop size, but I'm going to fill the background contents with black. I'll click Create, and then zoom in using command + 0. I want to create a path for the flames to follow, so I'll select my shapes tool, in this case, the ellipse shape, and I want to make sure that I set the option to Path. Then I'll click and drag out a shape, making sure that I don't make it too large, because depending on the flame I create, I don't want it to extend beyond the edge of the canvas. Now, in order to make this more flexible, on the Layers panel, I create a new layer by clicking on the plus icon so we can put the flame on this layer. Then, under the Filter menu, I'll choose Render, and then Flame. There are a lot of different options you can choose from, including the flame type. You can have…
