Adding motion effects for spinning objects
- [Instructor] Photoshop Spin Blur is an excellent tool for creating circular spin effects, like emulating the rotation of a wheel or a fan. And you can reposition the point of origin to spin objects at an angle. So in order to do this non-destructively, I'll choose Filter and Convert for Smart Filters. Then I'll choose Filter and Blur Gallery, Spin Blur. Photoshop creates the default ellipse. There's the pin in the center, so I can reposition this. I can also use the blur wheel in order to increase the blur angle, or I can do that using the blur tool slider in the right side. Now, in order to make this larger, I can click and drag on the blue line. You'll notice that everything between these larger dots and the center pin is blurred. And then between the larger dots and the smaller dots, that's the fade range. So if I scoot this in, we can see that everything in this area is blurred, and then it's got a larger fade.…
