Adding new stars

- [Instructor] Now that we've removed the blurry stars from the sky with the Dust and Scratches filter, it's time to add in the new focus stars and fine-tune the image. I'm going to start off by moving the New Stars layer up to the top of the Layer stack, just by clicking and dragging it up there. And I'm going to use a blending mode to blend in the bright points of light with the underlying image. I'll open the Blend Mode menu and choose Lighten, which we've used a few times in this course. That looks good except for the fact that the stars and a little bit of blue haze are kind of showing up over the landscape, so to fix that, I can just make a copy of this layer mask for the remove stars layer and I'll do that by Option or Alt dragging the thumbnail of that mask up to the New Stars layer. And that copies it up there and does exactly what I need. I'm going to click on that New Stars layer just to make sure that it is…
