- [Instructor] Now it's time to place a little bit more emphasis on the environment as well as add our secondary actors or our supporting actors to the image. So I have two layers here and they both contain steam. In fact, they're actually the same layer and it's actually smoke but I want it to look like it's steam. I'm going to apply two different treatments. To the steam that's at the top of the image I'm just going to select that layer and change the blend mode. In this case, maybe overlay or maybe soft light or maybe even screen. Now, I think I like soft light a little bit better. It's just a little too heavy. So I'm going to bring the opacity down on that layer. And I really like the way that the steam kind of interacts with the clouds. It almost looks like there's these jellyfish up here in the sky now.
