Adjusting the Color Adaptation setting

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you what's going on with the color adaptation setting here inside that content and we're fill workspace. And so the idea behind this setting is it allows you to control gradual transitions inside the area of your fill. And so I'm going to go ahead and scroll over here inside the preview to the top of this tail fin. And if you look closely, you can see that we have some darkness and then things get a little greener up here. And so the idea behind color adaptation is that you want to ratchet it down if you're trying to maintain details inside your field selection. So if I take that setting down to none, you can see that we end up with this kind of dark plume above the tail, which is not what I want at all. And we start having some modeling in the top right region of the selection. If I were to switch it from default to high, we'll start getting smoother transitions, but…
