- [Instructor] If I can leave you with one thing from this entire course, it would be that consistency is the easiest way to ensure effective collaboration. And for that reason, you need to set standards and then stick to them. Look around you for inspiration. In particular, I love looking at style guides. If you're not familiar, style guides are very often used in branding and publishing, so that everyone working on a project is able to produce consistent work. In September of 2015, NASA actually republished their classic Graphics Standards Manual from the mid-'70s. Now, even if you've never seen this document, I imagine that you've seen the effect of this document, consistent logos and colors. In fact, it went so far as to specify the things that NASA wasn't supposed to do. These are incorrect uses of the NASA logo.
