- [Chris] Hello friends, this is Chris Orwig, welcome. In this week's episode, we are in Photoshop, and we are talking about hats upon hats upon (chuckles) hats. Have you ever felt like this, like you wear so many different hats in life? Well, here we're going to take a look at how we can increase this stack of hats that we have here, and we're going to do that so we can talk about masking, and so I can share with you an advanced masking tip. All right, well this is the original photograph. I had her wear a bunch of hats, and what I want to do is stack those up. So one of the ways that we can begin to do this is to just make a rough selection, and I'm going to do this so that we have this area selected. I'm going to copy this to a new layer by pressing Command + J, and that will then copy this up to this new layer so that we just have this right here. And I'm doing this just to illustrate that we're starting off here.…
